Within the framework of the implementation of the project "Cultural connection in purpose of strengthening the touristic attractiveness of the region", an exhibition of non-affirmed artists and cultural and artistic associations from Pozarevac and the surrounding area was officially opened. In the very center of Pozarevac, in the Tabačka Čaršija street, info boxes are installed and will be used for the promotion of individuals and organizations involved in the production of items from the category of homemade crafts, the production of traditional food, honey and handicrafts.
The exhibitors were provided with the use of wooden houses in an attractive location characterized by a large fluctuation of the local population and tourists without compensation in the period of June 21, 2018. – August 30, 2018.
Within the realization of this activity, it is expected to increase the interest of non-affirmed producers to exhibit and build image and recognition, as a specific contribution to the promotion of culture and tradition in order to improve cultural tourism and tourist offer in the cross-border area.
The project "Culture without Borders" is being implemented with the funds of the European Union with the participation of the City of Pozarevac, the Republic of Romania and the Municipality of Anina. The total value of the project is 502.063,00 Euro, and the period of realization is 23.12.2017.-22.12.2018.
